UL 508认证
UL是一种安全标准认证，旨在实现与材料、设备、产品和工具设备功能和安全相关的标准化，由美国安全检测实验室公司认证。

可编程逻辑控制器（PLC）、电源装置、不间断电源（UPS）和工业控制设备等全球设备制造商的产品均获得UL 508认证。
在单元认证中，安装在单元中的部件也由UL 508定义。
具体而言，需要符合UL 508标准的开关设备，包括机械继电器和固态继电器。逻辑输出光耦等通用光耦不在本范围内，但属于固态继电器产品组的光继电器在本范围内，需要采用。
对于固态继电器（SSR），树脂温度限制上限为105°C。[注1] 以下东芝光继电器（一种MOSFET输出类型的固态继电器）通过UL 508认证，对应于NRNT。[注2] 它们可以在该温度限制下使用。
