2-2.LDO稳压器过流保护操作
当VOUT一侧的负载与GND之间短路或发生其他系统故障时，此功能限制LDO稳压器输出电流，以保护其自身及使用稳压器的系统。东芝LDO稳压器过流保护功能称为折返（foldback）。当电流过大高于内部阈值时，折返会随着输出电压（VOUT）的下降减小输出电流（IOUT）。即使输出电压降到0V，输出电流仍保持内部设定电平。“折返”一词源自IOUT-vs-VOUT曲线的形状，该曲线在保护过程中折返，如下图所示。当导致过流状况的故障条件消失后，LDO稳压器自动从过流保护状态恢复，输出电压恢复到正常水平。
