东芝电子元件及存储装置株式会社推出了一款汽车音响用全新4通道功率放大器“TCB503HQ”，具有强大的抗电涌能力。
基于东芝在汽车音响用IC方面的成熟开发能力，新产品通过模拟精细工艺实现了更高的抗电涌可靠性。它还支持6V运行，适用于配备怠速减速系统的车辆，这在近年来已成为流行。此功能可抑制电源电压波动时出现的爆裂声。
其它功能还包括内置滤波器，用于提高对外来高频噪声的抵抗能力，甚至可防止来自于移动电话的无线电波和车门后视镜调整的高频噪声等异常噪声。
利用片断检测信号来控制音量和音调控制电路，可以提高设备的音质。
