一般而言,电机驱动器的功率消耗包括两个因素:IC偏置电流消耗功率和电流流过输出部分的消耗功率。这两个因素都受到驱动电压和占空因数的影响。

IC消耗的电能大致可分为两部分:输出模块中晶体管消耗的电能和逻辑模块消耗的电能。(以下以100%驱动占空比计算。)
P(total)=P(out)+P(bias)
输出模块的功率(P(out))由H桥的高边和低边MOSFET消耗。
P(out)=Iout(A)×VDS(V)=Iout(A)×Iout(A)×Ron(Ω) ………………………(1)
当电机输出电流波形与理想波形相对应时,可按下式得出输出模块的平均功率。
假设Ron=0.60 Ω,Iout(峰值:最大值)=1.5 A,VM=24 V,可按下式进行计算:
P(out)=1.5(A)×1.5(A)×0.60(Ω)…………………………………………………(2)
=1.35(W)
逻辑和IM系统的能耗按运行和停止状态分别计算。
I(IM3)=3.5 mA(典型值):运行期间 (fPWM=30 kHz)
I(IM2)=3.0 mA(典型值):停止时(制动模式)
输出系统连接到VM(24V)。
(输出系统:连接到VM的电路消耗的电流与输出级开关操作消耗的电流之和)
运行期间的能耗可按下式计算。
P(bias)=24(V)×0.0035(A) ………………………………………………………(3)
=0.084(W)
根据公式(2)和公式(3)的数值,可按下式计算出运行期间的总能耗P(total)。
P(total)=P(out)+P(bias)=1.35+0.084=1.434(W)
非运行模式(停止)下的能耗n可按下式计算。
P=24(V)×0.003(A)=0.072(W)
此外,通过待机模式停止运行也可降低功耗(IM1=1 μA(最大值))。
在实际电机运行中,由于电流阶跃的转换时间和恒流PWM引起的纹波,平均电流会小于计算值。请参考上述计算值,并在充分评估电路板和其他元件的散热设计后留出余量进行设置。
