压差

压差电压值表示输出电压相对于输入电压的电压降。如果该值较大,则会导致功耗增加。东芝LDO稳压器通过各种采用新一代工艺的双电源LDO产品,实现了优异的压差特性。所以相比传统产品,可以在较低输入电压下获得期望的输出电压,从而可以通过压差损耗来降低功耗。

东芝的TCR15AG系列LDO稳压器采用N沟道低RON MOSFET,除了输入电压外,还利用两个偏置电压源进行工作。因此,该系列实现了低压差特性,以及比其它公司产品低60%的大电流。这使得大幅度降低输入电压、增大电流输出成为可能,从而实现了高的电源效率。它对于CMOS图像传感器、MCU、RF等1.0V左右数字核心电源和参考电源输出电压而言,是理想的高输出电流、低发热电源。
