齐纳二极管的特点是能够保护对象免受瞬态过压脉冲以及接近直流的过压脉冲的影响,ESD保护二极管很难做到这一点。

如果是如上图所示的过压脉冲,图中的灰色部分将接通至齐纳二极管,因此必须检查功率是否可以接受。
利用上述方程来近似方波并计算脉冲宽度。每个产品的浪涌功率容限如图所示。确认在近似方波后tW的齐纳浪涌功率容限在设计上不成问题。
