在基本形式中，偏置电阻内置晶体管（BRT）由NPN或PNP晶体管以及两个电阻（串联基极电阻（R₁）和基极-发射极电阻（R₂））组成。这三个器件封装在一个封装中。还可提供单（单件式）和双（二合一）BRT。双BRT可用于具有不同引脚排列的共发射极、点对称和并联配置。
