在IEC61000-4-2(触点)的ESD抗扰度试验中,施加ESD的瞬时电压被称为第一峰值脉冲电压。电压越高,对后续电路的影响越大(ESD造成损坏或故障)。通过安装TVS二极管(ESD保护二极管),第一峰值脉冲电压可以保持在较低的水平,且ESD耐受能力得以提高。

东芝的DF2BxM5系列(EAP-V)通过优化工艺,与DF2BxM4系列(EAP-IV)相比,第一峰值脉冲电压降低了约50%。低电容TVS二极管采用最低的第一峰值脉冲电压实现了高的ESD保护性能。
