移动设备等电子产品在追求功能复杂化的同时对性能的要求也越来越高。这致使电子产品上使用的IC数量和单元电路在不断增加,从而引起了对低功耗要求及长电池寿命的矛盾。负载开关可以配合电源管理IC动态地关闭非活动电路区块,从而节省电力降低功耗并提高可靠性。根据需求及产品的差异,负载开关IC除了开关功能外,还可以提供过压欠压保护、热关断、反向电流阻断、过流限制、转换速率控制电路、输出放电等功能。
