近些年,随着各种各样的机器设备对于过电压过电流的保护功能的要求越来越严格,传统机械保险丝已经不能满足对于高保护性能及重复使用的要求,电子保险丝的使用场景越来越多。当电流超过额定值时,传统的保险丝将通过焦耳热熔化内置合金部件来保护电路和防止设备损坏。然而,这些保险丝的缺点是:分断电流不确定,熔断时间慢,以及由于单个过电流破坏而需要进行更换。与传统保险丝不同,eFuse IC具有高速电流中断功能,因为当电流过大时,内置MOSFET会关闭。此外,它不会被单一过电流破坏,可重复使用。它的优点在于它可以结合各种保护功能,比如过电压保护。该产品还可以有效地降低维护成本和维修恢复时间。
