We participated in the “Oita Beautiful Candle Night” organized by Oita Prefecture. During June’s “Summer Solstice Day” and July’s “Tanabata Day,” when electricity demand tends to rise in the summertime, we carry out initiatives such as turning off signboard lights and promoting energy conservation.

Every year, in line with Earth Hour, we turn off factory lights, sign lights, and nearby streetlights for one hour, contributing to the reduction of electricity consumption.

To address food waste and contribute to society, we collected surplus food that we do not consume or cannot finish at home. These items were delivered to "Kodomo Shokudo" (children's cafeterias) and welfare facilities through "Food Bank Oita." This initiative aims to reduce food waste and support the local community.

The Deliver Vaccines! Eco Cap Collection Campaign

We collected plastic bottle caps from employees at this site and donated them to a nearby company, for which we received a letter of appreciation. The donated caps are delivered as vaccines to children in developing countries through the certified NPO “Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World’s Children (JVC).”

We collected books that were finished reading at home within the company and donated them to local welfare organizations. The collected books were converted into donation funds and used for welfare activities in Yokohama City, such as child support, elderly support, and support for people with disabilities. In June and October, we focused on sorting and collecting empty cans, cigarettes, and other trash in the parking lots and commuting routes used by employees. Additionally, we participated as volunteers in the 'Asahikawa City Anti-Littering Campaign' held in May and October.
