There was a power outage at Japan Semiconductor Corporation’s Iwate Operations, a key production facility of Toshiba Electronic Devices& Storage Corp., on September 11.
The status and impact as of 15:00 today are as follows.
- We resumed partial production smoothly. We expect to restore full pre-outage production levels by the morning of September 17.
- We continue to review damage to work-in-process, and anticipate maximum unrecoverable output and losses due to the outage at 10 days’ of production.
