PSC(Programmable Servo/Sequence controller)

可编程伺服器/程序控制器(PSC)是一个与CPU内核完全分离的协处理器,也是具有原始指令体系结构的计算单元。通过分离算术运算和定期及不定期的程序处理,大幅降低CPU内核的处理工作量。
因此通过降低CPU内核的操作频率,也降低了MCU的功率消耗。同时,CPU资源可用于其它操作。这些过程将有助于提高性能和增加功能。

PSC execution sequence (in case of the TMPM342FYXBG)

启动PSC有两种方式:一种是使用CPU核心,另一种是使用外围功能。对于不同产品,采用外围功能启动PSC的方法不同。例如,如果PSC需要周期启动,则应采用间隔定时器中断。  也可以采用AD转换结束中断。当PSC启动后,它将运行存储于代码RAM中的程序,然后将计算结果或处理结果存储于数据RAM中。然后,它将运行STOP指令。这些过程将在CPU内核产生PSC结束中断,并停止操作。停止的PSC不消耗功率,处于待机状态直到接收下一个启动因子。

由于对外围功能寄存器的访问很容易,因此PSC有多种应用。

  • 摄像头抖动校正功能控制和自动对焦控制

  • 电机的位置控制和速度控制
